Anecdotes and Lessons in Stakeholder Engagement from Non-State Actors in Climate Funds
Climate funds have embraced principles of stakeholder partnership and participation in their governance and operations, with civil society organizations, the private sector and Indigenous Peoples represented directly in their governing bodies, as observers. This new publication gives voice to observers themselves, shedding light on their perspectives, highlighting both positive experiences as well as barriers for stakeholder engagement, and bringing forth recommendations to strengthen the role of observers in climate funds.
